There are often occasions when you need to temporarily prevent a fluid or gas valve from being opened. The main example of when this might be the case, is while repair or maintenance is taking place, stopping workers from using a valve while it is potentially unsafe and thereby protecting their health and safety. Here at Work Safety Solutions, we have just the right equipment for the job with our valve lock off devices.
We stock a range of valve lock off devices capable of shutting off many kinds of valves including ball valves, butterfly valves, cylinder valves, gate valves, plug valves and pneumatic valves fitting virtually all pipes including insulated, PVC and metal. Our gate valve covers are measured by the diameter of the handle, while our ball valve covers are measured by the length of the handle.
If one particular lock off device is not enough for your needs and you would like a variety of options suitable for locking off a variety of sizes of valve, you can find several solutions to this problem here. For gate valves, we provide a nested assortment of valve lock off devices containing all devices for all five sizes of valve.
